My Story
I had a winding road to becoming a therapist: starting off at a music conservatoire in London and then obtaining a PhD in Musicology at Cornell, before deciding that I wanted more meaning in my work. That’s the short version, at least! The slightly longer one is that experiences with contemplative practices and in nature while living in upstate NY helped me start slowing down and tune into what was really important to me. The answer was connection—to myself and to others and the world around us.
My own healing journey has involved a wide range of different supports—from sound healing to acupuncture, astrology readings, and more—and this is why I am so passionate about offering my own clients integrative psychotherapy. Some of the great joys of the past decade have been my mindfulness teacher, polyvagal theory-informed practice, and now evolutionary astrology training, as they have benefited not only me as a therapist but also a human being.
I live and work on the traditional lands of the Wecquaesgeek peoples. When not working, I can be found tending to plants in my garden, spending time by the water, and discussing natal charts with friends.
